Using Social Marketing to Increase Participation in Energy Efficiency Programs

This forum taught us how PSE developed and implemented an integrated campaign designed to engage with their non-eco-minded customers on signing up for their energy efficiency programs. PSE went beyond simply generating awareness of their products and services, and created the “Energy Upgrades” campaign that met their customers where they were and made it relevant to them. Jenifer walked us through the step-by-step social marketing planning process, from how they determined their goals and objectives to how they evaluated the success of the campaign.

Presenter: Jenifer Gonzales, Puget Sound Energy (PSE)
