Planning your Trip

Coming to SPARKS from out of town & looking for accommodations?

Visit the Seattle Southside website for more information regarding accommodations that are conveniently located by the SeaTac airport. Additionally, the list below features a few recommendations of places with wonderful reviews and fair prices; and, they are all within a 15 minute drive to the Museum of Flight.

If you are hoping to be closer to downtown Seattle, check out Visit Seattle, where you'll find an array of information about the Georgetown and SoDo neighborhoods! Both Georgetown and SoDo lie just north of the Museum of Flight - Georgetown is only a 5 minute drive and the heart of SoDo is only 15 minutes away.

If you don't have a car of your own, both Lyft and Uber are incredibly reliable and affordably priced. And, if you end up staying in one of the hotels listed below or within one of the recommended neighborhoods, there's always the opportunity of carpooling! Email to be connected with other SPARKS attendees in the same position!

Additional Networking - Evening with Colleagues:

Despite the wonderful array of restaurants to discover throughout the greater Seattle area, settling on one location can be a source of stress. But, don't worry! We organized something where the responsibility doesn't fall on you.

Following Day One of the conference you have the opportunity to indulge on delicious food and share your thoughts and opinions of the first day of the conference with other social marketing professionals!

Folks who wish to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity will head to the restaurant Bar Ciudad in Georgetown for a cocktail hour, with appetizers and beverages, dedicated to networking and conversation.

If you would like to participate in this cocktail hour, email with your expression of interest, your name and your preferred contact information so that you can reserve your space! As the conference approaches, we will compile a formalized list of those attending and we will coordinate accordingly.

With respect to finding other places to dine throughout the remainder of your stay, utilize the websites linked above! Don't hesitate to email us at with any additional questions!

If a selection of SPARKS registrants use this page as a reference point for places to stay and eat or for things to do, there is a greater chance of networking between everyone!

Ultimately, our hope is that our registrants can get to know one another and learn from each other both inside and outside of the SPARKS conference.

We can't wait to see you there.
