Short Bio
Preeti Shridhar is a dedicated public servant with over 30 years of experience, known for her significant contributions to environmental conservation, economic development, and social equity. She is a Commissioner with the Woodinville Water District and the first woman of color District's to hold the position. She has consistently demonstrated her commitment to public service and community improvement.
Preeti championed Seattle's Climate Change Initiative, led affordable housing initiatives, and established Renton’s first Equity, Housing, and Human Services Department, addressing social equity, housing affordability, and access to essential services. Preeti serves on several regional boards, contributing her expertise to various civic and nonprofit organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Catherine's University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. Active in her community, Preeti dedicates her time to family, local events, and mentoring young professionals.
